About the Role:

As a Sales Manager - Farming, you won’t be chasing new logos. Instead, you will be the trusted growth partner for our existing clients. You will focus on building strong, long-term relationships with our current customers, understanding their business goals, and helping them get the maximum value out of MoEngage.

Your primary goal will be to nurture these accounts, drive new modules, conversations, and identify opportunities for upsells and renewals. You will be the face of MoEngage to our most valuable clients and play a crucial role in growing our revenue!

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for generating revenue from existing SMB and Mid-Market accounts, while hitting and exceeding sales targets assigned

  • Work cross-functionally across Customer Success Managers and the Account Executives to align internally on Account Context 

  • Maintain accurate opportunity updates, pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting using Salesforce to optimize sales performance and team efficiency.

  • Identify high-potential customer accounts for outbound prospecting through data analysis, market research, and targeted outreach strategies to expand the sales pipeline

  • Develop and maintain CxO relationships, Multi-thread Key Stakeholders across existing customers to build customer loyalty in the process 

  • Being an expert of MoEngage positioning, competitive advantage and sales via tight relationships

  • Pro-actively identify competition presence/threat in an Upsell Opportunity, to battle their way out and pre-empt churn  

  • Identify emerging trends with respect to product requirements and partner with Product/Partnership team to share feedback and shape the future of the product

  • Participate and represent MoEngage at Customer Centric Events, to build the status of a trusted advisor on all things Customer Engagement

Requirements:

  • 3 - 6  years of closing experience in SaaS Sales of Digital Marketing or Similar solutions.

  • Must have a strong network of clients / connections in the digital industry

  • Must have pitched to C level executives in marketing/product or technology domain of digital-first companies

  • Experience conducting product demonstrations with the ability to build relevant, strategic messaging

  • Must have strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen

  • Must be detail-oriented, organised & self-motivated

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills

  • Proven record of achieving sales quota throughout
