Role Overview

Join the CFO Office at MoEngage to drive financial planning, performance tracking, and other day-to-day activities in the Business Finance team. You will collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to analyze revenue drivers, prepare management dashboards, and financial reports that guide management decisions. The role will also cover periodic reporting for investors. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Board and Investor Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance decks, executive summaries, and board presentations

• Budgeting and Planning: Assist in building and maintaining the company’s annual operating plan (AOP), rolling quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial models. Conduct periodic variance analysis, and prepare detailed reports for management.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted finance partner to other Department Heads (Sales, GTM, Engineering), providing periodic updates on budgets and spends, and other key metrics as required. 

• Process Automation: Streamline finance workflows and optimize reporting pipelines using NetSuite, Salesforce, and BI analytics tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Big 4 Transaction Advisory experience. Prior experience in a B2B SaaS environment is preferred.

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), or MBA in Finance from a top-tier institute.

• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel modeling skills, powerpoint skills, a strong grasp of SaaS businesses, and working knowledge of ERPs (NetSuite/SAP) and Salesforce.
