About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced solution architect to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering exceptional customer experiences through our marketing automation platform, primarily focusing on MoEngage. You will be responsible for understanding our clients' business objectives, translating them into technical requirements, and designing robust and scalable solutions leveraging the full capabilities of MoEngage and integrating it seamlessly with their existing technology stack. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the intersection of marketing technology and customer engagement, driving significant impact for our clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Lead technical discussions with clients to understand their marketing automation needs, business goals, and technical landscape. Effectively translate these needs into clear and well-documented functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Solution Design & Architecture: Design comprehensive and scalable marketing automation solutions utilizing MoEngage's features and functionalities. This includes defining data models, segmentation strategies, campaign workflows, personalization tactics, and reporting mechanisms.

  • Integration Expertise: Architect seamless integrations between MoEngage and other relevant systems such as CRM, CDP, e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and other marketing technologies using APIs and other integration methods.

  • Platform Expertise: Maintain deep technical expertise in the MoEngage platform, staying up-to-date with new features, best practices, and API updates. Provide guidance and best practices to both internal teams and clients on leveraging MoEngage effectively.

  • Technical Leadership & Guidance: Provide technical leadership and guidance to implementation teams, ensuring adherence to architectural blueprints and best practices. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of internal knowledge and capabilities.

  • Pre-sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team during the pre-sales process by providing technical expertise, contributing to proposals, and participating in client presentations to articulate the value and technical feasibility of proposed solutions.

  • Performance Optimization & Scalability: Design solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability. Identify and address potential bottlenecks and ensure the platform can handle growing data volumes and campaign complexities.

  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and configuration guides. Contribute to internal knowledge bases and training materials.

  • Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues related to MoEngage implementations and integrations, providing timely and effective solutions.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure that all designed solutions adhere to relevant security and compliance standards.

  • This role requires working from 2 PM IST to 10 PM IST.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in solution architecture and minimum 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on marketing automation platforms.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations between marketing automation platforms and other enterprise systems 

  • Strong understanding of API concepts (REST, SOAP), data formats (JSON, XML), and integration methodologies.

  • Experience with data modeling, database concepts, data warehousing principles and SQL.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.

  • Experience with other marketing automation platforms 

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
