About the role:

This role is for a Social Media Manager who will manage the company's brand, in addition to the founder's brand. You will be responsible for creating and executing social media strategies to drive brand awareness and thought leadership. The role requires a strong blend of content creation, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Roles & Responsibilites:

 Founder Brand

  • Develop and execute a strategic social media plan that reflects the founder's vision, voice, and professional goals.

  • Create engaging and thought-provoking content for platforms like LinkedIn & Twitter (X).

  • Schedule and manage posts to maintain a consistent and active social media presence.

  • Identify industry trends and craft posts that position the founder as a thought leader.

  • Engage with comments, messages, and tags to foster connections and boost engagement.

  • Collaborate with the founder to align on tone, content themes, and key messaging.

  • Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to refine strategy and optimize reach.

 Company Brand

  • Develop and Execute Social Media Strategies for the Company Brand

    • Build and execute tailored social media strategies for key platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook) to drive brand awareness and strengthen customer engagement.

  • Platform Management and Content Distribution

    • Manage posting schedules, track content performance, and ensure a consistent brand voice across platforms.

    • Work with the Copywriting and Design teams to ensure high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content is delivered across platforms.

  • Campaign Ideation and Execution

    • Strategize, plan, and execute tactical and topical campaigns that center around brand, product launches, or core business objectives, ensuring relevance to the social-first audience.

    • Collaborate with the creative team and vendors to ensure high-quality execution of campaigns and consistency in messaging and visuals.

  • Leverage Insights to Optimize Performance

    • Analyze and report on social media performance (engagement rates, growth metrics, click-throughs, etc.) and leverage data to continuously refine strategies and content approaches.

    • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and audience behavior to identify ways to elevate engagement across platforms.

  • Drive Brand Personality and Storytelling

    • Own the tone of voice on social media, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s goals and resonates with the target audience.

    • Translate complex ideas into concise, engaging posts that support the brand story and key business initiatives.

  • Plan and Manage Social Media Campaign Calendars

    • Develop and maintain a content and campaign calendar for social media platforms, ensuring timely execution that aligns with key business priorities.

    • Proactively plan for seasonal or moment-driven campaigns to maximize engagement opportunities.

  • Collaborate Across Ecosystems

    • Work with regional teams, performance marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of campaigns and messaging globally.

  • Social Listening

    • Monitor brand mentions and social conversations to assess brand sentiment and identify trends, customer feedback, or engagement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of social-media management experience.

  • A combination of ad agency and client-side experience is a plus.

  • SaaS experience is a bonus.

  • A portfolio that takes us through your professional journey would also be a bonus.

  • Prior experience managing a founder's brand is highly desirable.
